Starting the Property Search for a Glamping Business
On paper, this property checked nearly all of the boxes on my wish list. In person, something didn’t sit quite right; I wasn’t in love.
Finding the right venue is going to take time. It’s going to take patience. I have to go with the flow and let go of my urge to put timelines in place. It’s all part of the process and none of it can be forced. I will find my glamping venue when it’s the right time. I trust that the universe has its plan.
In the meantime, I just need to keep going through the motions and take time to listen to my heart. This week, my heart was telling me that this property wasn’t the one.
And so my search continues…
Take-Aways From The Glamping Show USA 2022
As for the presentations and panel discussions, I walked away feeling very optimistic about where the industry is headed. Though glamping is not a new concept by any means, I believe it’s still in the infancy end of the spectrum. As Whitney Scott of Terramor Outdoor Resort said, "how we create our glamping businesses today will define what glamping is tomorrow.”
And So My Glamping Start-Up Journey Begins
I’m at the point where I’m ready to take the leap and figure out how to fly on my way down – I have full confidence that I can create something really great. The only things is: I do not own property and I don’t have any money for a down payment on a property.
